Impulsive Thought : Both are OK !

Prompt : “Prevention is better than cure”. Researching and treating diseases is too costly so it would be better to invest in preventative measures.

To what extent do you agree ?

Investing in preventative measures is considered as a better option compared to researching and treating diseases cause it is thought as taking less expense. “Finding cure is wasting our money”, if I can say it in a nutshell. In my opinion, I do not completely agree with this statement, I think finding cure for diseases is definitely important. However, preventive actions are also needed to be thought carefully to minimize the worst possibilities.

Indeed that it would be costing a lot of money if we focused more on the research for treating diseases. Nonetheless, I guess that should not be a problem, in fact, we should not think of that as an obstacle. Since people should really think about the worst-case scenarios happened regarding this matter, which is, people got the diseases, and one solution to solve this would be giving the cure and it is as important as preventing the diseases.

Preventive measures at the same time, should also be prioritized in the same line, it’s not a compromise thing. In order to avoid further tragedy, we should invest more on this matter as well. While finding cure is the most feasibile option if we would be faced by the worst possibilities later, still, preventive actions would be a beneficial thing to do for minimizing the effect of the diseases and further loss caused by the worst-case scenarios.

Thus, researching and treating diseases should be prioritized as well, and invested enough because it is a whole package with futher research on preventing measures too, in my opinion. Eventually, I believe if both actions were done, that should be really decreasing the risk of worst possibilities happened due to the diseases, in the future. As for the cost, that would be the thing less considered if we would like a better condition.
