Prompt : Some people think that success is the best measure for intelligence, while others think that intelligence can be measured in other ways.
What is your
opinion?
Intelligence is
thought as the best one to be measured by success, while at the same time,
people also believe that other things as well can be a measurement for
intelligence. Responding to this statement, I believe that success is not the
best measure for one’s intelligence, there are several reasons to that, but
most importantly, first, not all successful people are intelligent and there
are indeed a lot of intelligence types in this world which are not merely
measured by success.
I can say not
all successful people intelligent are based on the thought of most people in
defining success. Because it’s obvious that success is defined clearly
different by each person. Some define as getting popular, some define as
reaching financial freedom, or simply by getting education achievement. If you
looked to those options, I believe there would be many factors resulting the
kind of success which most people have defined, and it’s not merely intelligence.
Besides that,
intelligence has a lot of kinds. There are being intelligent in music,
intelligent in visual movement, or many others obviously. And indeed, to really
measure those kind of intelligences are not only by success, it could be by
their achievements in the field, by their works, or else, and those people with
intelligence are not always success unless you say success is purely only being
knowledgeable and smart of something as it defines the intelligence itself
literally.
So success is
clearly not the best measure for intelligence. A lot of other things can define
how intelligent person is and also not all successful people are intelligent.

thing above was purely existed from the author’s authentic random thoughts, not
from the basis of researches, or opinion of others. Well just to avoid those
people who would like to judge thing before knowing the real thing and to state
that nobody’s perfect, basically. Last, the author does have a freedom to give
opinion right? Thank you.
